In my work I'm mainly concerned with the patterns found in nature, whether it be the veins in a piece of fruit or the branches of a tree. I've zoomed in, distorted, and simplified to capture exciting patterns. By altering these objects they tend to become abstract or surreal. I enjoy experimenting with and combining a variety of 2-dimensional media. In my most recent works I've started to combine stark blacks and whites with radiant colors, I really enjoy the contrast, along with the positive and negatives spaces it ceates.

-Kristen Zink

Opening Event:

March 10th, 1pm-4pm

UPCOMING EVENT: Artisits Aloft in the Attic

Artisits Aloft in the Attic

A collection of young Harlanites rise to the occasion with an eclectic exhibit of creativity.
