UPCOMING EVENT: The Studio of Piano Fine Arts
“Family & Friends Duet Recital”

The Studio of Piano Fine Arts will host its 17th annual “Family & Friends Duet Recital” on Saturday, February 17 at the SKCTCS Auditorium on the Harlan Campus. Over 60 young musicians will perform in one or more of three recitals: 2:00, 4:30 and 7:00 pm. Each student will perform on their instrument with a special friend, family member or their teacher. Instruments include piano, violin, guitar and harp. Featured teachers will be Lisa Trapp, Justin Taylor, Pat McClung and Clara Atkins-Pope. Performing apprenticed teachers will be Jaid Ragg and Victoria Smith. Guest musicians will feature Greg Hollins on mandolin, Forrest Hollins on guitar bass, and Jack McClung on Banjo. A special bluegrass band performance will be presented by Studio violinists/fiddlers at the 4:30 recital. Other special performances will include a string quartet, two Mozart piano concertos, and a Jazz Guitar combo. The public is invited to attend. A $5.00 admission for adults will be charged.
